A few weeks after the publication of documents relating to his presentation, that’s now the product page of the Lenovo ThinkPad X100e, the first of the glorious series of ultraportable laptops to boast an ex-IBM 11.6-inch screen.
The laptop will be officially presented at CES 2010, but will be purchased by American consumers as early as next January 5. The ThinkPad X100e will be one of the few “netbooks” in the market to having a trackpoint in addition to a traditional touchpad (multi-touch in this case) and a full size keyboard with design “an island”.
The complete data sheet is not yet available, but the product page already spoken of an unspecified AMD (an MV-40 Neo?) And 5 hours of battery life. Other features of note include 3 USB ports, the integrated webcam, Card Reader 4-in-1, HD audio, WiFi N, the network port Ethernet modules and optional Bluetooth and 3G. All in 1.4Kg.
The X100e also introduce a new design for the line of Lenovo laptop and will be available in three different colors, two of which (Midnight Black and Red Heatwave) available worldwide, and third (Arctic White) only sold outside the United States .
