Toshiba today announced another first, in honor of his 25 years of portable booklet called W100 and is the first dual-screen tablet with which the company intends to maintain the high reputation which he sees as a producer cutting edge and always one step ahead of others.
The booklet W100 will have a budget very similar to that of tablets which have been discussed so far, but some details stand out: between the Intel Pentium Processor U5400 at 1.2GHz, 2GB RAM, 1 megapixel camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth , USB port, micro SD slot and 8-cell battery, showed a 64 GB SSD well.
And of course the unusual feature are the two screens multiotuch (capacitive) 7-inch, resolution 1024 × 600, also equipped with accelerometer and the ability to work independently, with these two screens are 6 modes different to have a virtual keyboard.
Toshiba Libretto W100 with Home Premium Windows 7 will be released in Japan in late August in limited quantities and with a price of around 880 euros. Let’s see if the product is imported in the West: the features seem interesting and I do not know about you, but to me this form style Nintendo DS, suggests the excitement of holding almost a small book, just as the name implies. Only the brushed aluminum chassis, with sleek, break the spell to the touch.
