In Asia, the new Samsung Galaxy Tab Tablet PC appears under a different name, namely as a model SMT-i9100.The new Samsung SMT-i9100 Tablet PC also differs slightly ago on equipment. This model comes with the Android 2.2 operating system and will appear in the Ocean Observeration user interface instead of the known TouchWiz user interface.Other technical specifications include a 7-inch touchscreen display with 1024 x 600 pixels resolution, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of memory, a MicroSD card slot, a 2-megapixel camera, WLAN 802.11b, Bluetooth 2.1 and two 1 Watt speakers.
The new Samsung SMT-i9100 Tablet PC will be released in February 2011 when Japanese KDDI provider.
