Rover computer is not an offshoot of the British car brand Rover, but it is a Russian technology firm. A total of five new tablet computer label with Rover are expected at the October 2010.
The product range of “Roverpads” ranges from a small 4-inch Tablet Zoller over 5 to 7 inch device. Depending on the size, of course, different powerful hardware components are used. The processors will be drawn from the range of ARM / Marvell, with a 7-inch representative relies on the Nvidia Tegra CPU.
The RAM and flash memory of the Tablets are limited. The former ranges from 128 MB to 512 MB, while the flash memory can hold a maximum of 4 GB. Per SD card slot, that space can be enlarged.
For the connectivity to all devices ensures a WLAN module. For mobile use, it is advisable to order nor the optional UMTS module, since this network in Russia (especially Siberia and Co.) is not likely to be very extended.
