LG aims for 3D Sound audio system that can give you a true 3D experience. Sound Systems studied in recent years are many, and as for the film may vary from country to country. Speaking of movies, while in the room the sound comes from, the homes most often comes from a position much lower. The goal of 3D sound is to get as close as possible to the experience of cinema.
At this booth at IFA Berlin we could test the HX900 LG 3D Sound with 4 Tallboy Speakers and 2 subwoofers. In this case, 4 speakers, thanks to the 3D Effect Vertical Channel, also convey the sound upward and then decelerating it. Combining the two subwoofers, using in turn two woofers instead of one, it produces harmonics that can make the 3D sound.
These are the foundations for the so-called Dome Cinema Effect of LG. In essence, the combination of horizontal and vertical ranges of sound to obtain the result, rather unexpectedly, to be able to hear exactly where sounds are not actually placed speakers. This produces the 3D effect mentioned at the beginning, definitely enjoyable and interesting if combined with a TV or projector 3D.
