After invading the cinema is about to become a permanent guest in the house, Lenovo produces his latest creation, the IdeaPad Y560d, a laptop, which will make 3D even our essential travel companion.
Is not the first laptop to launch in the enterprise three-dimensional (recall for example the Asus G51J-3D or the recent Toshiba Dynabook TX/98MBL), but the Lenovo IdeaPad Y560d is one of the first to use 3D technology TriDef (used for example nell’Aspire 5738DG).
The Lenovo IdeaPad Y560d comes with a pair of polarized 3D glasses and a 15.6 inch screen with 1366 x 768 resolution and refresh rate to 60 Hz, in addition to Tridef Media Player software, which allows among other things, to convert all video and images in 3D version. Other features, rather than performance, the new Lenovo laptop include an Intel Core i7-840QM at 1.8GHz, up to 8 GB of DDR3 RAM, and ATI Mobility Radeon HD5730 with 1 GB of dedicated memory.
However, the specifications can be configured quite differently: there are at least 10 other processors to choose from, it is possible to have the optical drive and a Blu-ray storage solution can be chosen from a hard drive (which can up to 750 GB) or an SSD. A futuristic design that makes it look like a gaming laptop, and the normal equipment you would expect from a notebook on the front of the high-level connectivity (WiFi, Bluetooth and 3G option, 3 USB ports, webcam 1.3 megapixel, USB / eSATA combo, VGA and HDMI) complete the main characteristics of this new laptop.
The new IdeaPad Y560d will be available from June 22 on Lenovo‘s site with a starting price that seems rather modest, $ 1,199
