The new processor will come in the coming months on the market. This is the new Intel Core i5-580M, which will replace the Core i5-540m. The new processor will be clocked at 2.66GHz and consumes only 35 watts of electricity during operation.
Below follows the Turbo Boost technology, which provides the Intel Core i-processors for more power. The new Intel Core i5-580M processor will be clocked to 2.8GHz and probably attached to follow 3MB L3 cache. A unit price for the new processor, but it currently does not exist yet.
