The FCC (Federal Communication Commission), the U.S. government agency that is responsible to analyze and approve all electronic products before they are marketed, published this skinny image of a new HP product named Zeena. According to rumors, it is a tablet with capacitive touch screen, but surprisingly it is neither ‘the slate based on Windows 7, I’ of PalmPad based WebOS, because as the operating system using Android 2.1. which should run on a custom interface from HP.

Regarding the technical know that there are only the touch capacitive buttons, a slot for SD memory cards, the ability to play a video camera that doubles as a webcam. The name Zeena should remember the English word magazine (magazine) and this implies that the tablet is oriented to reading newspapers and books, probably taking advantage of recent agreement with HP Barnes & Noble to use the Nook bookstore.

The trump card of HP should be the native integration of Zeena with special printers that allow direct printing of photos from this device, newspapers, magazines and Internet sites without using a computer.
