I have had this laptop for 2 weeks now and it is great. It is very fast, good battery. Some people say super-hard fan. I do not know what they are talking about. After a day full of heavy usage, laptops tend to heat up in one small part, but that’s to be expected. 1 thing I would highly recommend though is to get a 2.53 GHz processor if you get a laptop with Win 7 Pro. If you go premium, then a good 2.26. I heard that the P processors tend to be more quiet than T.
VERY IMPORTANT: This is not a gaming laptop online. It works for many games, but the wireless internet wireless lag cause for almost all laptops and some games cause the laptop to heat up like crazy, like flyff. If you get broadband Internet like verizon etc, then perhaps online games fine.
The bottom line: good for everything i need. Can handle a lot of games like Warcraft 3 and the like. Fan is not hard for me at all. I have a cooling pad, but it’s fine even without it. The touchpad on this laptop is not the BEST. It’s decent but I recommend getting a mini wireless mouse. The keyboard feels wonderful when I was typing.
My configuration:
Intel (R) Core (TM) 2 Duo Processor P7550 (2.26 GHz, 3 MB L2 Cache, 1066MHz FSB)-shouldve got 2.53 (error)
Windows 7 Pro. 6 GB of RAM. Espresso Black color. 512MB Nvidia GeForce G 105M. There is no fingerprint reader. Wireless N-card with Bluetooth (it supports all 3 types: b / g / n). High capacity 6 cell battery. 500GB 7200 RPM hard drive (7200 RPM GET TRUST ME). I did not order much, but they sent me it anyways (I’m lucky). HP wireless mini laser mouse black. I did not order the software or protection plans.
