The keyboard was perfect. I usually use a wireless keyboard when the notebook is on my desk but I find myself drawn to the keyboard. It just felt good and sufficient feedback. The trackpad is a little weird to get used to at first, but within a few days I used it without problems.

1920 x 1080 which shows just amazing. I have been using the old hp notebook with a resolution of 1440 x 900 and I had just used to all the new screen real estate. Edge to Edge bezel would be nice but to tell the truth it does not make a difference for me.

Harbor are stacked on the right side (except for ac power port). I like it because it kept cable together and not look cluttered. HDMI and eSATA ports very welcome addition comes from a notebook with only USB and VGA / S-Viideo.

This notebook looks so pretty on the outside but is a beast inside. CS4 will open in a matter of seconds. Encoding and converting video hd faster than I’ve ever seen in a notebook. I can not break sweat it. It does not get the boys hot on the left side but not much. I think it went pretty cool for what value. My old notebook would be paralyzed by what I do now. Fans will be roaring and Envy does not even make a sound. Steady and quiet fans well within reach.

Battery life is decent with 6 cell battery. ~ 3 hours of surfing and the media see the default settings for hp. If you are looking to use this anywhere, so make sure you get the 9 cell battery slice. He adds almost no bulk to the laptop and is a must for power users in left.

This time I was impressed with the software package on the new computer. Bloatware non-exisent on this machine with the exception of Norton (just my opinion). Instant On envy very cool and helpful and really is instant. Stardock Logon Studio and Corel programs full versions of good software.

On the whole I am very impressed with this notebook. I’ve been waiting for a beautiful design with the specification of animals and ENVY 15 is exactly like that. I would definitely recommend it to those who seek beauty, durability, portability, and power.
