The Japanese PC vendors Frontier presented with the UX series, a new netbook, the first time the new Intel Atom N450 platform in the 10-inch form factor combined with a DVD burner. The slot can be used as with other major laptop for the installation of an additional hard drive. Here in the Frontier UX would then come under a different brand on the market, because it is obviously an ODM product.
Inside, the Frontier UX is apart from the DVD burner similar to all other new Pine Trail netbooks. For example, the Intel Atom N450 processor at 1.66 GHz and is integrated Intel GMA3150 graphics installed, which is also new NM10 Tiger Point is chipset support. There are also 2 GB of RAM, 320 GB HDD, 802.11b / g WiFi, a multitouch trackpad, Windows 7 Home Premium and a non-protruding 6-cell battery with a capacity of 4300mAh.
