The Dell Inspiron line of notebooks has never been characterized by exceptional technical specifications: it is more like a notebook every day for daily work or study, nothing particularly powerful. The new R-series, however, adds something extra in terms of aesthetics rather than hardware.
Dell Inspiron R series is presented as a sort of upgrade of existing specifications, with Core i3/i5 added since January, Intel Wi-Di optional ATI graphics card 1GB, but also a new level of aesthetics with Two new color options “in Peacock Blue” and “Pink Lotus.” The idea with this line of Dell is likely to attract the attention of a market less “technical” and more careful design.
