
The Acer Aspire 1551 is a small 11-inch notebook with a 1366×768 pixels resolution, which relies on dual core AMD processor and memory intensive. With this hardware, the device can almost pass for a grown notebook.
The processor is the AMD Athlon processor with K325 II Neo 1.3 GHz clock speed. Optionally, it can be replaced by an Athlon II Neo K625, which is clocked at 1.5 GHz slightly higher. Both processors come with the ATI Mobility Radeon HD4225 onboard graphics, which should be sufficient for HD video and the one or other 3D game. In addition, the AMD platform DDR3 memory.
From this memory, the Aspire 1551 have up to 4 GB, which corresponds to current notebook and desktop standards. One provides up to 320 GB hard drive for storage. For connection, the device includes 3x USB 2.0, HDMI, VGA, and a card reader. With Draft-n WLAN, UMTS and optional Bluetooth can communicate with the Aspire 1551 wireless.
